We're
very proud of our Restaurant, and believe that our food is amongst the best in
the area. Our kitchen uses only the finest ingredients, sourced where possible
locally here in Devon, including seasonal pheasant from Temple and Castle Hill
shoots, just around the corner.
Our extensive menu includes
everything from traditional home-cooked bar meals through to more contemporary
dishes, and in the evenings we offer an Á la Carte menu which really showcases
Sue's culinary skills.
Children We
also work hard to ensure that our smallest customers are happy, by offering a
wide range of child-friendly dishes and desserts. We will also happily prepare
mini-versions of anything on the main menus - Our nine-year-old granddaughter
(one of our most particular guests) heartily recommends the Fillet Steak and
Chips, with lashings of tomato ketchup!
Vegetarians Despite the name of our Inn, non-meat
eaters are also well catered for here! We always carry vegetarian options, and
will make a special note of your preferences when you book with us.
Nothing you fancy? We think it unlikely that we
will be unable to tempt you with something from our mouth-watering range of
dishes, but if you have a special dietary requirement, or perhaps a special
favourite that you can't live without, check with us when you book and we will
move Heaven and Earth to accommodate you!
